Reviews
We went for our anniversary and took a plan with meals served in the room and private bath on the balcony. They also included a bottle of wine and a special cake as part of the package.
The food was excellent (but WAY too much 😆). Dinner was served at our table at our own pace. Service was excellent, with our lovely servers lifelong residents of the area so filled with stories and suggestions.
The large baths were great, particularly the rooftop one which looked out onto the ocean.
Only things that weren't perfect were:
The bath on our balcony didn't have a view ...given the other baths, I'd probably trade an ocean view while sitting on the balcony for the private bath.
I'd also love it if the curtains in the room went all the way down. It let in very early morning light at eye level as it turned out
But otherwise, very enjoyable and we'd definitely go back
Older hotel with nice, clean updated rooms with large flat-screen TVs. Outdoor tub for enjoying that Oceanside view. Friendly staff. Great breakfasts and dinners.
It was a great place to stay. Staff were really friendly and the food was amazing. Recommend the Ise Ebi(lobster). Our private bath was really nice too, but privacy from the street was questionable. In any case, great place to stay for relaxing and food.
The food was so delicious that it was called a food inn.
Since it is near the sea, we highly recommend rooms facing the sea. They also told us the time of the sunrise so we could enjoy various views.
Some rooms had open-air baths on the 7th floor and in the guest rooms, which was very pleasant.
It has a greenhouse pool, so families with children can enjoy it as well.
For dinner, a la carte was served as a buffet course. I made a reservation for my birthday, so I was happy that they served me a cake.
The amount of rice was so large that you couldn't even get to the cake, and the a la carte buffet had a wide variety of options. I just ate too much lol
The contents seem to vary depending on the season, so I'd like to go at different times.
Breakfast was a buffet.
The omelet made right in front of me was exceptional.
The nearest station is Chikura Station, but there are very few trains, so we highly recommend coming by car or motorcycle.
Their howpitality and food are very good. But the facility is old.
At the villa, we had dinner at Teppanyaki Baknos.
The indoor bath was spacious and I was able to take a relaxing bath. I had a window on the east side, so I woke up a little early to watch the sunrise, and for the first time in a while I felt relieved. Also, you could see the sunrise from the bath, and the morning bath was the best.
Dinner was also delicious. They were very particular about the ingredients used, and the main meat was very delicious. The amazake shaved ice dessert was also exquisite. I would like to visit you again.
Private hot springs are free for 45 minutes.
I stayed in a corner room on the 3rd floor with a sea view, but there was no bathroom in the room, but instead a bathtub on the balcony, which surprised me as I thought it was called an open-air bath. The temperature was 35 degrees Celsius, and after adding hot water and replacing the hot water, it finally reached 39 degrees Celsius, and it didn't get any warmer than that. It probably took about an hour. It would have been different if it was a suite, but I don't recommend taking a balcony bath.
Amenities were plentiful.
The sashimi for dinner was fresh and delicious. It wasn't a seafood feast, but...
I wanted to eat some delicious seafood for my birthday, so I googled "Chiba, delicious" and found it. I made a reservation for a meal course called the Zero Plan. Sashimi, sukiyaki, buffet (I think it was a minimum selection of pickles, rice, soup, etc.), dessert, and each person orders the main dish they want to eat, making it perfect for people with small appetites. That's what he said. I also ordered a large king crab, sea urchin, grilled abalone, and a fruit plate for my birthday.
Everything was very delicious.
It lives up to its name as a delicious hot spring.
The hotel facilities themselves were standard, but what impressed me most was the staff. Everyone is so kind! !
I want to repeat it.
By all means, please stay put.
